This game will be playable on any standard laptop, desktop, or tablet device that has a connection to the internet, and a graphics card. The GPU (graphics processing unit) does not have to be "dedicated" one, but can be "integrated" if you have a newer computers. These include things like newer tablets and most newer laptops. For older computers, the graphics card must be "dedicated", which is to say it isn't directly part of the motherboard chips, but instead, the graphics card is plugged in to the motherboard. The better your graphics card, the better graphics experience, however, you don't need to go out and buy the latest. It should play well on relatively new hardware (5 years old or newer), and may play fine on older as well if you have dedicated graphics card, that is intended for games. You can't be fully sure until testing on your computer though. The goal is to be inclusive, and ensure everyone is able to play if your computer is at least partially meant for gaming. Screen size should be a tablet or larger. Playing on a mobile phone is likely not a great experience as the screen is just too small.
Eventually, this game will also be available on VR Headsets (starting late-2023). This arena is one that is changing very rapidly in terms of hardware, end-user adoption, and industry standards (which are currently in development). The VR edition will most likely be deployed right over the website, same as the regular game, but there is some possibility that the VR game will need to be part of a store such as SteamVR, Oculus Quest Store, etc. If it's part of a store, it will likely need to be installed on your VR device, but we're not certain at this point as it's evolving quickly. We expect prices of hardware to continue to drop and foresee VR being used with modern phones within the next year or two. We can't suggest getting a headset at this point in time because we aren't sure which ones we will support. What we can guarantee to you is that we're shooting for VR headsets that are affordable to all. Hopefully, we can get the game working with headsets that plug directly into your phone, which are likely to be the cheapest of the VR headsets. Lots of companies are coming out with lots of products, and we want to let the dirt settle a little bit first. We do hope to target the Oculus Quest 2 and up, but cannot guarantee that at this point in time.
